Rheumatology Research Engagement Day: Fri 10th May 2019: 4pm – 7pm at H.R.U

Last year the University of Glasgow Rheumatology clinical trial team won a grant in collaboration with NRAS to tour their public engagement campaign around the north of Scotland.

They are keen to engage with local communities about the European League against Rheumatisms (EULAR) campaign Don’t Delay, Connect Today, that raises awareness about the early diagnosis of rheumatic diseases.

They wish to talk about some research being carried out by both Aberdeen University and the University of Glasgow about fatigue, as this is still a persistent symptom for many people with a rheumatic condition.

There is an engagement event in the Highland Rheumatology Unit (HRU) in the Ross Memorial Hospital (Ferry Road, Dingwall IV15 9QT) on the 10th May 4pm – 7pm and there will be a number of interactive activities, information stalls, talks and our cell cafe, for everyone to come and engage with. This will be held in the HRU Gym and in the Dining room.

Please do share this event with family and friends and please do come along and support this wonderful educational event whether you have arthritis yourself or have someone close to you who suffers from this disabling disease.
