All donated funds go back into the Rheumatology Unit, for the benefit of the unit and it’s patients.

Please let us know if you have a specific purpose in mind for your donation, and we will try to make it so :)

Purchases already made by the Friends of HRU Group include:

Wi-Fi Installation within the whole Ross Memorial Hospital Site in Dingwall, of which the Rheumatology Unit in-patients will benefit.

A recliner chair for patients to use in the lounge

An exercise bike for the physio gym

Towelling robes for patients use while attending a double hydro session

Two DAB radios

New coathangers for patient bedrooms

A selection of ‘Limbo’ waterproof leg and arm protectors to allow those with wounds to shower and attend physio in the pool safely.

A Thermal drinks flask for use in education classes

And last year, we paid for the Dining Room and Lounge to be repainted and a new floor put down.

We were delighted to help with the purchase of an Ultrasound Scanner after a fantastic fundraising drive in June 2014.

And in February 2015 we purchased an Accuvein Scanner to help establish veins for intravenous medications and blood sample.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has donated money or completed fundraising on our behalf.

We will continue to look after the patients interests within the Rheumatology unit Dingwall.
